(RENTON, WA)—Masonator Racing is excited to announce the addition of driver Ian Humphries, who will drive the 53 Tri-Med Legend at Evergreen Speedway this season.
This comes on the heels of Mason Nelson announcing he will race part-time in 2025, including Galloway and Summer Showdown races at Evergreen Speedway and racing around southern Idaho, where he moved in the offseason.
“Our goal is to have additional drivers under the Masonator Racing name. We welcome Ian, who shares the love of racing,” said Public Relations Director David Nelson. The Humphries name is known for racing stringers and demo derby at Evergreen. Now, Ian will bring the family name into the INEX Legend Racing Series. He has raced quarter midgets at Washington Quarter Midget Association and Little Wheels and 600 Sprints at Deming Speedway.
After finishing third last year in the Evergreen Legend division and moving to Caldwell, Idaho. Mason will race at Meridian, Motorplex at the Mill, and Magic Valley speedways. “The daily grind of racing for seven years has taken a toll. I am excited for Ian to take over the second car and race together at Galloway and Summer Showdown. I must thank my family and Tri-Med Ambulance for supporting my racing from a distance.”
An official schedule will be week by week, along with live streaming on YouTube when available. You can watch all the races at Evergreen Speedway, one week later on Home Track Heroes on CW11, Sundays at 5 pm
